Adult Studio Class - Introduction to Cyanotype

Create original cyanotypes, or sunprints, in this hands-on, introductory workshop guided by photographers Lindsay Lochman and Barbara Ciurej. During this workshop, you will be introduced to the history of the process, materials and techniques used, mixing and applying the chemicals, and exposing and developing using sunlight or a UV exposure unit. Guests will utilize a variety of flowers, found objects, and negatives as their subject matter. 

Chemicals, printing equipment, and materials will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own photo negatives and flat objects or botanicals to experiment with. No previous experience required!
